Production
How we produce
In-house we produce a manner of different films and productions, from location to studio-based work we we can manage as little or as much of the process as is required. Some of our clients like to manage the budgets directly – handling fees and bookings.
The size of the role of production is usually in tandem with the size of a project. We work on the principle of around 20% of the budget of a project.
For larger projects such as documentary, drama and feature film work we have a network of production people we work with and commission.
For educational work we work with a mix of in-house production and external freelance producers.
Some of our clients use us to consult with on production and take the role forward themselves.
Our Production process
When we start a project together we will have an initial pre-production briefing meet to discuss the project with you. From this we will plan a timescale and delivery of the project based on our brief.
This will start the process, covering
- Casting
- Prop and wardrobe
- Location
- Film equipment
- Sound recording equipment
- Special effects, if required
Before we film all the key stake-holders will have a pre-production meeting that will cover the detail of the film shoot. From locations to cast and timings on the day we will cover everything.
Having filmed we will enter post-production where we edit and add the final touches and bring your idea to life.
Commissioning
We offer a fully-integrated film production service.
That includes commissioning when we need to.
So, if you need a full orchestra sound recording studio, 3D modelling, an aerial shot or a drive-in green screen studio we know where we can go to get it.
